Testing and writing tests is an invention from a long time ago. Professional scribes were tested in Ancient Babylon, mathematical skills were tested in Ancient Greece (at the Pythagorean school), — applicants for bureaucratic positions in Ancient China, and in Ancient India people were tested for game wisdom (chess).
