Anorexia is a constant self-preoccupation with food, pallor, and pathological thinness. The mortality rate among those affected is very high.
Bulimia is when a person eats a huge amount of food at a time, and then conducts a procedure of "self-cleansing", provoking vomiting, diarrhea or taking diuretics.
