According to a study by Chelsea Sleep from the University of Georgia, a difficult character usually has the following traits:

• cruelty (callousness, lack of empathy);
• vanity (conceit);
• aggressiveness;
• distrust (suspicion);
• manipulativeness (Machiavellianism);
• dominance (desire to control others);
• riskiness (perceived negligence).

It is difficult to interact with, work with, and live with such people. Because they are unpredictable and can lose their temper at any moment.
