In this article we will dive into the fascinating world of socionics, explore its basics and learn how determining your personality type can shed light on many aspects of your life. Take a socionic personality type test to discover new facets of your own personality.

What is socionics and what is its essence?

A lot depends on which personality type you belong to: your way of interacting with others, your interests, your life choices, and much more. The term "socionics" covers a wide range of concepts, but its basic meaning is quite simple - it is the study of different personality types and their interaction with each other. This science originated from the theories of Carl Jung, who categorized people into 16 types. C. Jung identified four main pairs of opposites in his theory:

Introversion and Extraversion

According to Jung, the introvert is focused on their inner world, saving his\her life force for themselves, while the extrovert actively shares his\her energy with the world around them.

Intuition vs. Sensory

Intuitives have the ability to see hidden possibilities and draw ideas from sudden insights, while Sensorics rely on their senses and experience, paying attention to facts and verified information.

Ethics vs. Logic

Ethical individuals focus on interpersonal relationships and emotions, making decisions based on their personal values. Logicians, in contrast, focus on objective information and logical analysis when making decisions.

Rationality vs. Irrationality

Rational types focus on logic and consistency in their actions. Irrational personalities, on the other hand, are oriented toward adapting to change, acting in a more flexible and intuitive manner.
