Adequacy of sensation, or accuracy of perception, means that what we sense through our sensory organs when interacting with objects or processes corresponds to the description of these objects or processes provided by other people.
Put simply, adequacy of sensation is related to how accurately and fully our sensations convey the real world and correspond to the information that other people can obtain about the same object or process.
For example, if several people see the same object and all describe it in the same way, for example, as a «red apple», then their sensations can be considered adequate. If one person perceives this object differently and describes it as a «blue apple», then that person's perception may be considered less adequate.
