Amimia (hypomimia)
Amimia (hypomimia) is a neurological disorder characterized by an impaired ability to express emotional states and intentions through facial expressions and gestures. Patients with amimia may have difficulty communicating their feelings and intentions to others because they have trouble controlling the facial muscles needed for emotional expression and communication. This condition may be caused by various neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, or other brain injuries.
