Human evolution

Human evolution is the process by which humans originated and evolved, including their physical, genetic, psychological, and sociocultural development.

Research on human evolution includes the study of archaeological finds, paleontological evidence, genetic research, sociocultural evolution, and other scientific fields to understand the origins and development of Homo sapiens and other extinct species of the genus Homo. This process spans millions of years and is one of the key topics in anthropology.
