Chromatopsia

Chromatopsia is an anomaly in color perception in which all objects and the environment appear to be of one specific color. There are different types of chromatopsia, depending on which color predominates in this distorted perception:

Erythropsia: A person perceives everything in red tones. This condition may occur as a result of iodine poisoning or in the presence of certain medical problems.

Xanthopsia: People with this type of chromatopsia see the surrounding world in yellow tones. This condition may be associated with jaundice (hepatitis) or poisoning by santonin contained in some plants.

Cyanopsia: A person perceives everything in blue shades. This condition may be caused by various factors, including poisoning by certain mushrooms and chemicals.

Chromatopsia is a rare and abnormal phenomenon that is generally associated with pathological conditions or the effects of toxic substances on the body.
