Color perception

Color perception (color perception) refers to an organism’s ability to perceive and interpret the colors of the surrounding world. It is a complex process that depends on many factors, including the physical properties of light, the anatomy and function of the eye, as well as the processing of information in the brain.

Color perception is not limited only to the spectral composition and intensity of the light entering the eye. It also depends on context and the environment. For example, the color of the same object may be perceived differently depending on lighting, background, and other factors.

Color perception may also depend on our individual characteristics, such as color vision experience and psychological traits.

This phenomenon is studied in various fields, including the physiology of vision, perceptual psychology, and color science, and it is important in design, art, and many other areas where color plays a significant role.
