Lying

Lying is a situation in which a person knowingly provides information that does not correspond to reality in order to deceive another party. For example, if someone claims that they passed an exam successfully, although in fact they did not take it, this is an example of lying. Also, when a person says that they have already completed a task, although in fact they have not started doing it, this is also a form of lying. Lying may be used for different motives, such as avoiding punishment, obtaining a benefit, or maintaining an image in front of others.
