Fatigue is a physical and psychological state that arises as a result of prolonged physical and/or mental exertion or monotonous activity. It is manifested in reduced physical performance, decreased attention and concentration, as well as a feeling of exhaustion and loss of interest in the current activity. For example, after a long day of intensive physical work or mental effort, a person may feel fatigue, which may lead to the need for rest and recovery. Fatigue can also occur when performing repetitive and monotonous tasks, when the brain needs periodic variety to maintain efficiency.
