Naive

The term «naive» describes a person who is innocent, spontaneous, and may easily trust others, especially if they have limited experience or knowledge of the world. In the context of experimental psychology, a «naive participant» refers to a person who takes part in a psychological experiment without having full information about the aims or hypotheses of the study. This is done to avoid the influence of prior expectations or bias on the part of the participant, which may distort the results of the experiment.
