Overeating leads not only to overweight, but also brings great harm to your health, as your liver, stomach and cardiovascular system suffer from the load. If a person overeats constantly, he\she is threatened by high blood pressure and cholesterol plaques in their blood vessels. The main cause of overeating is psychological dependence.

Often symptoms of overeating are observed in people who are trying their best to limit themselves in eating and switch to healthy food.   1. Don't eat in front of the TV or gadgets. This way you have no control over the amount you eat.

  2. Chew your food thoroughly, slowly and in silence.

  3. If you cannot tell if you are hungry or not, drink a glass of water. Your body will tell you if you need to eat.

  4. Get enough sleep. Sleep deprivation produces the hunger hormone ghrelin.

  5. Try not to wash down your food or drink within an hour of eating.
