How developed are your skills? Competency test

This competency test assesses six major skill groups:

  1. Communication skills.

Communication is one of the most important skills needed to succeed in the workplace, encompassing the abilities to communicate, listen, write, and read. If you want to be a professional communicator, you need to be effective at all stages of the communication process - from a "sender" to a "receiver." You also need to be comfortable in a variety of communication channels - face-to-face, online or written communication.

  2. Leadership skills.

Whether you're a leader of a company, department, team, or are still learning, it's important to have leadership skills: motivating, inspiring, and spurring people to action. You have the resources to become an outstanding leader. You just need to assess them and start developing them if necessary.

  3. Creativity skills.

If the thought of creativity makes you think only of artistic talent - don't worry! If you're interested in creativity skills for a future career, for example, business creativity is about finding fresh and innovative solutions to problems and identifying opportunities to improve the way you and your team work. So, everyone can be creative if they have the right mindset and use the right tools to develop creativity.

  4. Self-Organization Skills.

Self-organization skills assess your tendency to use external means of organizing activities. These skills are actually a combination of time management and self-motivation. You can rely on both aids (diaries, planners, or notes in your phone) and your natural organization to plan your work and personal time. Being organized will improve your productivity, allow you to meet deadlines, minimize stress, and perform your duties more efficiently.

  5. Stress Resiliency Skills.

Stress is not scary, it's a normal human reaction. It's how our brain and body respond to any demand. And it's normal to have high levels of stress at one point or another in our lives due to many life-changing scenarios and stressors. The constant flow of stress hormones (including the so-called "stress" hormone - cortisol) can affect your body, causing it to age faster and making it prone to disease. Assessing your stress tolerance skills can be a valuable first step toward living a harmonious life.

  6. Emotional Intelligence.

We all know people who know how to control their emotions. They are calm in crisis circumstances and make clear decisions no matter how stressful the situation. We also know people who can "read" the emotions of others. They understand what to say to make people feel better and know how to inspire them to take action. Such people have a high level of emotional intelligence. They have strong relationships and deal with life's difficulties calmly and effectively. They are also emotionally resilient in crisis situations. Researchers have found that emotionally intelligent people often have great leadership potential. Realize this potential by finding opportunities for further self-development.
