Results of the questionnaire
In his methodology, J. Taylor distinguishes five levels of anxiety:
Very high level of anxiety
This level may indicate the presence of psychological disorders. A person constantly feels threatened, feels discomfort and anxiety even in an environment that is not predisposed to it. High self-criticism is noted. This can be accompanied by problems in studies, at work and in communication, up to aggressive behavior. It can be extremely difficult to cope with these problems on one's own.
Physical symptoms may include increased sweating, flatulence, general weakness, rapid breathing and heartbeat, and reddening of the skin.
High Anxiety
People in this category are highly emotional and often have low self-esteem. They are sensitive to criticism and fear expressing their thoughts and emotions. These individuals are less effective under stressful conditions and need the approval of others. Physical manifestations of anxiety are possible.
It is important to learn to manage stress and maintain self-control to prevent psychosomatic disorders.
Medium level (with a tendency to be high)
People with this anxiety index usually have a calm emotional state, are sociable and have moderate self-esteem. They are more open compared to those with a higher anxiety level. However, they can also experience unreasonable anxiety without obvious reasons.
Medium level (tends to be low)
Such personalities are characterized by the presence of their own point of view, the ability to express and defend it reasonably. They have a fairly high self-esteem and independence of thinking. Calmly react to criticism and may tend to be lazy, experiencing anxiety only in cases of real threat.
Low Anxiety
People with low anxiety levels sometimes seem indifferent, lazy and irresponsible. However, this is not always the case. They are also capable of feeling fear and tension, but this only happens in moments of real danger. In nature, different individuals of the same species use different strategies to survive. High anxiety motivates active action long before the threat appears, while low anxiety allows you to effectively relax until the critical moment arrives. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages, but the fact that they coexist demonstrates their viability.
